John Johanson explains the difference and prefers to generally use the term Climate Change. Union of Concerned Scientists, in their book, “Cooler Smarter” use both terms with their more specific meanings, but for general reference they use global warming. Here is a good discussion of the terms. I’ll use Global Warming but if you use Climate Change we are probably talking about the same issue.
