YOUR VOICES HAVE BEEN HEARD - THANK YOU!
In response to the omission of the rural greenbelt in the draft Saratoga Springs' Comprehensive Plan "Vision Statement," many of you responded with emails or communications to members of the City's Comprehensive Plan Committee.
At their August 19, 2013 meeting, the Comprehensive Plan Committee voted unanimously to accept a working draft of the Vision Statement that unambiguously retains the "City in the Country" greenbelt concept as the foundation of Saratoga Springs' Comprehensive Plan. This is a significant victory for sustainability in our community.
Your input--the input of concerned citizens--has been critical to this process. Thank you all who wrote to the committee, to the newspapers, and to Sustainable Saratoga, as well as those who have attended and perhaps spoken at meetings. Your participation is important and effective!
However, please stay engaged--there are many critical issues yet to be discussed, debated, and decided! Your input will continue to be critical throughout this long process.

If you've submitted comments to us, either through email, our website, or any of our board members, make them count by also submitting those comments to the Comprehensive Plan Committee via firstname.lastname@example.org
