Capital Region Energy Fourm hosts speaker at St Rose

Title: Camplain-Hudson Power Express
Subject: The Champlain-Hudson Power Express is an innovative energy transmission line that is being proposed by Transmission Developers Incorporated (TDI) to bring safe, secure, affordable, renewable energy to New York. The line will be a High Voltage direct current (HVdc) cable that will be placed in waterways or buried along railway routes to minimize impacts to local communities and the environment. The project will run from the U.S.-Canadian border to New York City. Mr. Jessome, president and CEA of TDI, will describe the technical basis and the financial and environmental benefits that the project is aiming for, and will outline the current status and future steps needed to make the project a reality.
