Speaker Biography

Jason Doling is a Project Manager in NYSERDA’s Research and Development Department focused on Transportation and Power Systems and, in particular, energy storage systems.  NYSERDA, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, is a public benefit corporation created in 1975 to help New York meet its energy goals: reducing energy consumption, promoting the use of renewable energy sources, and protecting the environment, in a way that helps contribute to the state’s clean energy economy.

At NYSERDA, Jason helped establish NY-BEST, the New York Battery and Energy Storage Technology Consortium, which is a network of energy storage companies, researchers, and government partners working to build critical
mass in this industry in New York State and leverage initial NYSERDA seed funding of $25 million.

Prior to joining NYSERDA in 2009, Jason was Director of Business Development at NYSTAR, the New York State Foundation for Science, Technology and Innovation.  He was also Statewide Director for the Federal Manufacturing Extension Partnership in New York State, a network of non-profit consulting organizations that help smaller manufacturers maintain their competitiveness.
