Go Green Day’s mission is to offer a free family-friendly educational, informational, and hands-on event to encourage better recycling practices, agricultural practices, energy conservation, and waste reduction, support the practice of buying local, plus provide the opportunity to drop-off a variety of recyclable goods.
Go Green Day will appeal to eco-minded Capital District residents of all ages, as well as local business owners. Our 2011 event had about 600 visitors. October 2012 Recycling Extravaganza had over 500 cars. Being held together in April - these 2 events should draw well over 1000 visitors.
